Math Puzzle

Given: any seven-digit number, ie., your phone number:

  • Multiply the first three digits by 80
  • Add 1
  • Multiply by 250
  • Add the last 4 digits of the number
  • Add the last 4 digits of the number again
  • Subtract 250
  • Divide result by 2

In order to assist in the reduction of unlawful acts which have been occuring in Playas de Rosarito, BC, which constitute a violation of the law in addition to its various extensions.

It is worth mentioning that there will not be any interrogation (identification of caller will be kept anonymous)."

These pamphlets are available at the Palacio (City Hall) in Rosarito. They are being handed out to Mexican Nationals as well as resident expatriates. Everyone is being encouraged to report any assaults, home invasions, car-jackings, robberies by force, or other forms of violence against the person by unknown assailants, by using the phone numbers or email addresses given. Don't bother calling the local police.
